現(xiàn)在的醫(yī)生都喜歡開進(jìn)口藥。進(jìn)口藥好些都是簡(jiǎn)短的中文說明之后便是大段大段的英文說明。下面就簡(jiǎn)要介紹英文藥品說明書中的一些關(guān)鍵點(diǎn)。

　　1.藥物名稱

　　常見的名稱有下列幾種情況：

　?。?）給出藥物商品名，并在括號(hào)內(nèi)給出正名，下附包裝形式。如：

　　Benemicin 利福平

　　(Rifampicin) （利福霉素）

　　Capsules 膠囊

　?。?）給出藥名，在右上方用小字標(biāo)明“藥用”，如：

　　For the Medical Profession 藥用

　　Dihydrostreptomycin Sulphate B.P 硫酸雙氧氫鏈霉素 英國(guó)藥典

　?。?）不僅給出藥物商品名，在右上方標(biāo)明“藥用”，還給出正名：

　　For the Medical Profession 藥用

　　Aerosporin Brand 嗜氣芽胞菌素 商標(biāo)

　　Polymyxin B sulphate 硫酸多粘菌素

　?。?）給出藥名，說明類別及用法，有時(shí)并附另名：

　　Kanendomycin 卡南多霉素

　　A new broad-spectrum antibiotic 新廣譜抗生素

　　For injection 注射用

　　Fungizone Intravenous 豐吉中靜脈內(nèi)用

　　Amphotericin B For Injection U.S.P 二性霉素B注射用美國(guó)藥典

　　2.藥物成分介紹

　　此項(xiàng)常用標(biāo)題為Composition（成份），Introduction（介紹）或Description（說明）。有的開門見山就介紹藥物的potency（療效）或Pharmacology（藥理學(xué)），有的則詳細(xì)介紹Physical and chemical properties（物理和化學(xué)性質(zhì)），有的標(biāo)題則僅列出properties（性能）。本項(xiàng)常用句型有：

　　It is active against... 本品對(duì)......有效

　　It is relatively insensitive to... 本品對(duì)......不太敏感

　　It is (an antifungal antibiotic) derived from...本品系衍生于......的（抗真菌抗菌素）

　　3.適應(yīng)癥

　　此項(xiàng)常用標(biāo)題為Indication（適應(yīng)癥），或者Indications and Posology（適應(yīng)癥和劑量）。常用句型是：

　　It is (a radiopaque) used chiefly in (bronchography). 本品（不透X線）主要用于（支氣管造影）。

　　It is used in the treatment of... 本品適用于治療......

　　In therapeutic doses (hydergine) exerts an effect on...使用治療劑量時(shí)，（氫化麥角堿）對(duì)治療......有效

　　(Pseudomonas organisms) are resistant to...（假單胞菌）對(duì)......有抗藥性

　　4.用法指示

　　此項(xiàng)常見的標(biāo)題有：Administration（用法），Dosage（劑量），Application and Dosage（用法和劑量），General dosage and administration（一般劑量和用法）。有的則用Administration and Dosage（用法和劑量）或Administration under medical advice（按醫(yī)囑用藥）。在此項(xiàng)下，有的說明書更進(jìn)一步細(xì)分為Standard dosage（標(biāo)準(zhǔn)劑量）和High dosage（大劑量）。

　　本項(xiàng)常用句型有：

　　For intramuscular use, (Pyopen) should be given every 6 hours. 肌肉內(nèi)注射用藥，（羧芐青霉素）應(yīng)六小時(shí)用藥一次。

　　For the treatment of (acute leukaemia) adults may be given 0.05mg-0.10mg per kg body weight daily.治療（急性白血病）時(shí)，成人劑量為每日每公斤體重0.05毫克-0.10毫克。

　　2 to 4 gm for adults and 40-80 mg/1kg body weight for children in 2 to 4 divided doeses by intramuscular, intravenous injection or intravenous drip infusion.成人每日2-4克，兒童每日每公斤體重40至80毫克，分2-4次用，肌肉或靜脈注射或靜脈點(diǎn)滴。

　　Up to twice a day 1,000 mcg, depending on acuteness of the disease.根據(jù)病情的急性程度，劑量可達(dá)1,000微克，每日兩次。

　　As a rule, oral medication is sufficient, 1 or 2 tablets being given 3 times daily preferably after meals. In severe cases, Regitine should be administered parenterally, i.e. 10 mg. i.m., possibly i.v., once or twice daily. 通常口服即可，每日三次，一次一至兩片，最好飯后服用。對(duì)嚴(yán)重病例，酚妥拉明應(yīng)胃腸道外用，每日一至兩次，每次10毫克，肌肉注射，亦可靜脈注射。

　　5 禁忌癥

　　此項(xiàng)標(biāo)題大多為Contraindication（禁忌癥），也有使用Warning（注意事項(xiàng)）。常見句型有：

　　The drug should not be administered to patients with (Known hypersensitivity to penicillin). 本品不宜用于（已知對(duì)青霉素敏感的）病人。

　　The presence of granulocytopenia or thrombocytopenia at the start of treatment does not contraindicate Vincristin therapy. In such instances great caution is warranted.治療開始時(shí)出現(xiàn)粒細(xì)胞減少或血小板減少，并不禁忌用長(zhǎng)春新堿治療。但對(duì)這樣病例，（用藥時(shí)）必須特別小心。

　　6 副作用

　　此項(xiàng)標(biāo)題多為Side effects（副作用），也有的說明書把Warning（注意事項(xiàng)）和Side effects并為一項(xiàng)。常見句型有：

　　Store at room temperature, use before the expiry date indicated on the label.于室溫下保存，在標(biāo)題上所注的過期日期以前使用。

　　(Benemicin capsules) should be kept in a cool and dry place.（利福平膠囊）應(yīng)置涼爽、干燥處保存。

　　(Vincristin) should be protected from light and stored in a refrigerator.（長(zhǎng)春新堿）應(yīng)避光，并置于冰箱中。

　　7. 包裝

　　此項(xiàng)標(biāo)題多用Package，Packages或Packing（包裝），也有用Mode of Issue（出廠包裝），How supplied（供貨方式），Presentation（包裝方式）及Supply（供貨方式）。
