International Trade（國際貿(mào)易）
Today every country buys from and sells to other countries. If one country has more bananas than it needs，but no trucks，it may exchange the bananas with another country that has more trucks than it can use，but no bananas.
現(xiàn)在，每個國家都與其他國家做買賣。如果一個國家生產(chǎn)的香蕉超過了需求，但不生產(chǎn)卡車，它就可能與另外一個不產(chǎn)香蕉，但有剩余卡車的國家進(jìn)行交換。
The things a country sells to another country are called exports. The things a country buys from another country are called imports. International payments are made in the currency of the exporting country. Therefore，the paying countries have to buy the currency of the exporting country in the foreign exchange market.
一個國家將貨物賣給另一個國家叫出口，一個國家從另一個國家購買貨物叫進(jìn)口。國際支付是用出口國貨幣進(jìn)行的，所以，付款國必須到外匯市場上購買出口國的貨幣。
The exchange rate is the price of foreign currency in terms of domestic currency，and it varies from time to time. Sometimes a United States dollar is worth twelve pesos in Mexico. Another time it may be worth eight pesos.
外匯匯率是以本國貨幣表示的外國貨幣的價格。匯率會不時地波動，有時一美元值十二墨西哥比索，有時只值八比索。
Today international trade is big business. Hundreds of business houses and banks are engaged in work connected with international trade. Wholesale houses buy in large quantities from other countries. They sell in smaller quantities to shopkeepers and other merchants. In turn，these merchants and shopkeepers sell in still smaller amounts to individual buyers.
現(xiàn)在，國際貿(mào)易是大買賣，許多商行和銀行從事與國際貿(mào)易有關(guān)的業(yè)務(wù)。批發(fā)商從其他國家大批量購買，再小批量賣給商家和其他商人，由他們再轉(zhuǎn)手，零售給單個顧客。
